Een simpele blokkendoos vormt de tweede afgeleidde van de iconische ArcheToys. Net als bij de stalen miniaturen en de kartonnen serie CARton is gezocht naar de essentie van voertuigsilhouetten. Maar het concept van de klassieke blokkendoos biedt meer: extra ruimte voor fantasie en speelse eigenheid. Met wisselen, verschuiven of omdraaien van de basisvormen ontstaan telkens weer nieuwe, persoonlijke configuraties. Al dan niet afgemonteerd met eigen plakband of elastiekjes. Zo krijgen de houten blokken de rol van ontwerpgereedschap. Het kleurgebruik en het ruimtelijk visueel maken van de verlichting geeft een cartoonesk beeld, een associatie met vintage striptekeningen. De blokkendoos heeft een verscheidenheid aan waarden in zich en is daardoor attractief voor zowel kinderen als volwassenen.

In this way, the wooden blocks become tools for design. The use of color and the spatial representation of lighting create a cartoon-like effect, evoking vintage comic illustrations.
